What Kind of Barbie Are You???

Season's Greetings!

Every year for Christmas since 1990 I have gotten a Holiday Barbie. This is the first year that I have not waited in anticipation for the dazzling doll with her extravagant dress, perfected makeup, and glamorous box that shall never be opened. This year I have decided to be my OWN Holiday Barbie (although, I still requested one for 2010). I have decided that I will affectionately carry the name of "Boss Barbie" and live it accordingly. 2010 has been the year of The Barbie, with the introduction of Nicki Minaj and all her pink haired followers, every little girl and woman alike wants to be a Barbie. I even have a co-worker who's birth name is Diva Barbie (Imagine that)! According to my fellow blogger NNL (relentlesslyreal.blogspot.com) being a Barbie consists of more than just being beautiful, but this blog is coming from a makeup artist/stylist who thinks that being beautiful inside and out is the true definition of a Barbie. Without that beauty, you're just a Bratz or a Cabbage Patch Kid! Here are a few tips for how to be a lifesize Barbie.

  • Take care of your body: Be sure to maintain a healthy smile, hygiene, and healthy body. Barbie is very conscious of first impressions!

  • Take care of your skin: Make sure you use a 'three step' process consistently to keep your skin smooth and imperfection free

  • Be Nice (genuinely): Do things for others that make them feel good. Doing good, returns good back to you.

  • Have a hobby: Barbie has a list of things she's interested in, in fact she's more of a superhero than a doll with all her endeavors. Having passion for something will keep you ALIVE and motivated!

More important than anything else, being a Barbie is a state of mind. I believe that ALL women have a bit of Barbie in her and need to let her show! So with that said, what kind of Barbie are you?

As Always: Be Fashionable. Be Fabulous!

I love this post Tiffany! We all need reminders to be who we were meant to be. We have to make it a mandate to be the most gorgeous version of ourselves.
