With bikini season quickly approaching, many of us are busy pumping iron and doing all the cardio we can to get into that tiny two piece. But what do we do in the mean time while we're trying to drop those pounds, or if we want to look super sexy RIGHT now? I have the answer to the question and it is.......Fake it til' you make it!! Here are three steps to make you appear as if you have already lost those pounds.
* Wear clothes that fit!
Seems pretty basic but many of us are actually wearing clothes that are too big or too tight. Who cares about what 'size' you are, it's about you being confident in whatever you choose to wear. Believe me, no one will go around pulling out your tags to see if you're really a size 2.
*Wear darker colors on your 'trouble' areas
If you're blessed to have have goddess hips and you want to minimize them, wear darker slacks and denim with brighter, more vibrant colors on top. If that problem is reversed and you're blessed on top, the same rule applies. Keep in mind when I say 'dark' I by no means intend for you to run around looking like the Grim in all black mix it up with charcoal, plums, burgundy, etc.
* Accentuate Your 'BEST' Areas
The more you focus on your trouble areas the more you emphasize it, so focus on what you DO love and play it up. If you have beautiful eyes play them up with a shimmery shadow, or play up lush lips with wine colored glosses. If you feel your lower body is the issue then wear beautiful necklaces and earrings that will attract attention to your face. If you have a hefty upper body, wear KILLER shoes. I think you get the point on this one! These are just three key points to help you "Lose" 10lbs instantly. If you follow these steps with proper diet and exercise you will be well on your way to your beach body and won't have that transition period in between.
