All the Riches of Fall

In case you guys don't know I am a HUGE follower of Leatrice Eiseman of the Pantone Color Institute. I regularly look to Pantone's Color forecasting to see what hues will be present in each impending season. I'm a little late in this post but the Fashion Color Report for Fall 2008 is out and I have to keep my followers informed.

FALL 2008

Fall is trademarked as a season for change, and that change is reflected in fashion through hues and textures. Usually, fall tones are warm and follow variations of red, orange, and yellow. Fall 2008 has broken the mold and is introducing colors that scream richness and royalty. Some of the hues that are present this Fall are purples, steel greys, and chocolate browns. According to Pantone, their hue "Blue Iris" (as seen to left) has been chosen by designers as one of Pantone's Color of The Year 2008.

So keep it simple and remember Royalness is Key!
